# ERP 2.0 Features

Set up ERP 2.0 on PD-Display with LTA MAC registration.

Use PD-Display with Singapore’s ERP 2.0 system. Complete these steps in order: find your Display MAC address, register it with LTA, wait for activation, then connect from PD-Display.

## Before you start

* PD-Display is installed, powered, and set up.
* You have a Singpass account to access **OneMotoring Digital Services**.
* Your vehicle already has an ERP 2.0 OBU.

{% hint style="info" %}
ERP 2.0 registration is handled by LTA. PD-Display only works after LTA has accepted your Display’s Bluetooth MAC address.
{% endhint %}

## 1. Find your PD-Display MAC address

You need the **Bluetooth MAC address** of your PD-Display. Use method A first. If the MAC is not shown in the app, use method B.

### Method A — From the PD-1 app

{% stepper %}
{% step %}

### Open Profile

On the PD-1 app home screen, tap your **avatar** in the top-left corner to open **Profile**.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Open Display details

In the **PD-Display** list, tap your Display to open its detail page.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Find the MAC address

Scroll down on the detail page until you see the **MAC** address. Copy or note it exactly.
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

### Method B — From PD-Display Settings

Use this if Method A is unavailable or the MAC is missing in the app.

{% stepper %}
{% step %}

### Open About

On PD-Display, go to **Settings → About → Version number**.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Read the MAC address

Find the **MAC** address on that screen. Copy or note it exactly.
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

{% hint style="warning" %}
Register the **Display’s Bluetooth MAC address**, not your phone’s MAC address.
{% endhint %}

## 2. Register the MAC address with LTA

For ERP 2.0, register your Display’s Bluetooth MAC address with LTA before pairing.

{% stepper %}
{% step %}

### Sign in to OneMotoring

Log in to the [OneMotoring Digital Services](https://onemotoring.lta.gov.sg/content/onemotoring/home/driving/ERP/erp-2-0/pairing-your-smartphone.html) website with **Singpass**.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Register the Display MAC

Go to:

**Manage On-Board Unit (OBU) → select your vehicle → add / register your Display’s Bluetooth MAC address.**

Enter the MAC address you copied in Step 1.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Pair with the OBU (LTA app)

After registration, open the official **ERP 2.0** app and pair your phone with the OBU over Bluetooth, following LTA’s instructions.
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

{% hint style="info" %}
Official LTA guide: [Pairing your smartphone (ERP 2.0)](https://onemotoring.lta.gov.sg/content/onemotoring/home/driving/ERP/erp-2-0/pairing-your-smartphone.html)
{% endhint %}

## 3. Wait for activation

After you register the MAC address, allow about **2 hours** for the registration to take effect.

{% hint style="warning" %}
Do not skip this wait. Connecting too early may fail even if the MAC was entered correctly.
{% endhint %}

## 4. Connect PD-Display to the OBU

When activation is ready, connect from the vehicle.

{% stepper %}
{% step %}

### Start the vehicle

Turn the ignition **on** (engine running or accessory power as required for your vehicle).
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Open OBU Settings

On PD-Display, go to **Settings → OBU Settings**.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Connect

Tap **Connect** and wait until PD-Display links to the OBU successfully.
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://help.pd1.sg/pd-display/erp-2.0-features.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
